JOIN CHRISTIANS IN BUSINESS
THE WORLDS LARGEST AND FASTEST GROWING CHRISTIAN BUSINESS DIRECTORY
Not only does God want to use your business for Kingdom advancement, He really does want to bless you, and prosper you in your business venture. We can see that clearly in the life of Jesus. Whenever He came in contact with a business venture, He focused on blessing the business. Whether it was the fishermen who had worked all night and caught nothing or Peter who was tired, hungry and likely confused after the crucifixion when he said “I am going fishing.” However, he caught nothing and had no food to eat. Jesus simply said: “Cast the net on the right side of the boat”. John 21:3-6 When he did so, there were so many fish they could not even pull them all in. Earlier, Jesus instructed him to “launch into the deep and let down your nets for a catch.” Luke 5:4. Although they had worked all night with no results, at the word of the Lord, they caught so many fish they had to call for help to bring them in.
Before we chastise Peter for not learning the lesson the first time, maybe we should revise our thinking like this. Since Jesus loves me, and since Jesus knows all things, I must begin to trust Him more with my business decisions. He knew both when and where to cast the nets, I am sure He also knows the when of where of my business. “Lord I give all of my business decisions to you.” Rich Marshall God@Work
