Just Tell Them All About Jesus!

​The owner of a large multi-national company asked me if I would provide leadership training for his employees. When I asked him specifically the areas he wanted me to address, he said: “that is your area of expertise, just tell them all about Jesus.”  

What an opportunity, and what a challenge! I was able to spend two full days in training his employees, about 15-20 at a time. I covered such topics as Ethics and Integrity in the Workplace; Behavior Styles and Communication Skills. Those were topics that my years of pastoring had prepared me for. At the end of the session, I would say something like this. “You might wonder how I, as a pastor, learned all of the business principles I have just shared with you. The truth is, they all come from the same book…the Bible. God taught us business organization through Moses and the Israelites in the wilderness. I learned integrity from Joseph, and teamwork from Jesus.”

In a very non-threatening way, and in a way that even in a business setting there was no cry to stop the religious talk, I was able to tell nearly a thousand people in a small group setting about Jesus, and see many of them give the heart to the Lord. I am telling you this to challenge you to find a way to bring your faith in Jesus into the marketplace. You can do it. God will show you how.
