“Surely the Lord is in this place, and I was not aware of it.” Genesis 28:16

We know from Ex. 31 that the Lord cares about your work so much that He desires to fill you with His Spirit for your work. While that is an awesome thought and powerfully motivating idea, I want you to consider exactly what this might mean for you.
When He filled Bezalel with His Spirit, and gave him wisdom, understanding, and knowledge in his work, there was a very specific purpose for this. While we may see this as “the gift of design” or “the designer anointing” (see Ex. 31:4), there was more to it than that. Among other things, Bezalel was to carry out the work of building the “ark of the Testimony”.

While the Ark had a practical purpose, to carry various sacred objects, it was also referred to as “The Lord.” (Numbers 10:35) To put this in simple language, Bezalel built something would hold the presence of God!

Can you begin to see this being empowered in your life? When you go to your work place, you carry the presence of God: He lives in you! Whoever comes close to you, comes close to God! When He starts to work through you, those around you will become aware of His presence. My prayer for you is this; “May the Lord’s presence be so evident in your life, that your work associates will say, ‘surely the Lord is in this place!’ “
