Your Business is Your Ministry

For many years I have been telling Christian business leaders that their business is their ministry. So, what exactly does this mean? First of all, it does not mean that you must start a workplace Bible study or prayer meeting. Nothing wrong with that, but that may not be your calling. Your calling is to be an influence for Christ in the marketplace! And that influence does not come from enthusiastic proclamation of your Bible knowledge.​​

Your influence comes from your life: from your testimony. It comes from how you are able to trust God in the difficult times as well the good times. It comes from your positive attitude, your control of your emotions, and your willingness to help others in their time of struggle.

God wants to build a testimony in each of us! Start your day with a simple prayer: “Lord use me today. I want to be a good influence in the life of those I interact with. Let Jesus be seen in me. Your Kingdom come, and your will be done in earth as it is in heaven.”
